We will work with you to sort belongings into categories such as keep, send to other family members, sell to dealer, sell on eBay/Half.com, give to charity, dispose (trash will be bagged at this time).

Determine items desired by other family/friends

On a secure web site, we will place photos of any items you believe other family members or friends may want from your home.  We will photograph the items, email the URL to your list and organize the responses.  You will receive a list of desired items by person, including a list of disputed items.  (Families must settle their own disputes.)

Distribute items to other family/friends

We will pack up and ship to-be-sent items according to your final decisions.

Sell belongings to dealers/estate sellers

For belongings you wish to sell to a dealer, we will meet with 3 vendors and provide you with estimates.  Based on your final decisions, we will arrange sales.

Sell belongings on eBay/Half.com

Photograph, list eBay items with sales write-up, track sales, pack and ship items; provide caregiver with clear reports.

Food bank delivery

We will pack up and hand-deliver any non-perishable unopened foodstuffs to a food bank.  You will receive a receipt for your tax deduction.

Jewelry appraisal

We will bring jewelry to reputable appraiser and report results

Organize financial files

We will organize homeowner's financial files, creating usable files and disposing of unnecessary papers.  You will receive a master list of files and instructions for annual disposal.

Change of Address paperwork

We will fill out COA cards for the post office and subscriptions.  We will cancel or transfer utilities and provide you with information from utilities (final bill date, turn on/off dates, etc.).

Prepare home for sale

We will arrange cleaning service to prepare house for sale; coordinate with contractors for needed work, such as replace carpets, paint, upgrade appliances, etc.; and coordinate with real estate agent.  If desired, we will contract a home stager to prep home for sale.
